We were in Colonial Williamsburg a little over a week ago. What a great place to visit. It was nice to have a history course refresher and to remember the events that led to the Revolutionary War.
Visiting the World War II Memorial was especially poignant for us since Doug's dad and my Grandpa served then.
The Vietnam and Korean War memorials also touched me.
Doug met a veteran of the Korean War who had come to the monument to remember and reminisce. They enjoyed talking together of their mutual love for the people and land of Korea.

I love Colonial Williamsburg! My dream retirement would be to be their 'quilter'. I would just sit around in my old dress and quilt all day....and get paid for it! :)
Glad you had fun!
