I'm so happy with the finished product. I wanted a frame that would complement the stitching and I think this one does. I've become such a fan of reproduction samplers. I love to think about the girls and women who stitched them. I like to imagine them stitching by candlelight, not Ott-Lite. I wonder what some of the images meant to them. It's fun to notice the abrupt change in threads at times. When they ran out of thread they couldn't run down to their local needlework shop and buy another skein in the right dye lot. This is the kind of history I like! Now to decide which one to stitch next.
